  1. I agree with this haiku. Women are supposted to be seen as virgins while men are allowed to be promiscus? I always wondered where this comes from. It is created by the human society, because there are signs of natural primate differences in male and female but not to this extent. For example, the wedding. We are supposted to be wearing white, but be serious what woman is a complete pure at marriage? Things are changing, and I’m always wondering how this all started.

    1. It is fascinating to consider the origin of such mores, isn’t it? I tend towards considering an evolutionary origin, that this mindset served some kind of function at one point in our cultural narrative.
