through the nearby woods
the way, today, much drier
moving through winter
Facing Forward, Pursuing Progress
My interest in photography started back in elementary school, and I studied it all through high-school. The shift from analog/film to digital changed so very much, yet so much remains the same.
Yesterday’s moonlight
Interwoven amidst dreams
Drifting through my mind
a pause in the rain
signs of winter around me
motion of my feet
resisting the wind
amidst winter’s aggressions
life’s tenacity
under damp branches
swaying underneath the breeze
stump returns to earth
the sun’s descent
behind the mountains
into the sea
I took this photo at Marina Beach, along the Edmonds waterfront earlier this week. It’s one of my favorite place on earth.
Shot with my Samsung S9, I’m quite amazed at the quality of images that I get from my phone. I also wonder how much better my photos would be if I used a better phone, or, egads, an actual camera.
from moon and stars
memories of tomorrow
drifting between dreams
I love this image I found on Adobe Spark. Might be via Pexals, but when I’m on the app, it’s not at all clear. But it’s a very fun haiku.
on the edge of dreams
night takes ahold of my life
the moon and clouds sing
Ah! Windows update!
Monday morning with crisp air
Crows laughing outside
