Unclothed while at school
My adolescent terrors
While birds remain unphased

While I look skyward
Moments of clarity shine
This cold autumn sky
Thanksgiving is past
Yet my gratitude runs strong
So much awesomeness
My face looking back
Before my Doppelgänger
Which one is evil?
Our hearts torture us
Pronouncing us quite guilty
Anxiety’s cruel
Gifts given with grace
Seeking to bestow our love
Filling both our hearts
Upon the spring breeze
Birds dancing gracefully skyward
The sunlit swallow
Perhaps they prefer
Victims to remain Faceless
I’m resisting such
For so great a mind
Those who understand “Assay”
Others are tested
