flittering of bees
dancing upon the petals
a choir of birdsong
I’ve not had my morning tea yet. Time to change that, methinks.
I hope your Friday is inspiring and productive.

admist the flowers
dancing upon the petals
the song of sunlight
the gentle rainfall
droplets caress the petals
in the early morn
under this spring sun
graceful dance of the spring breeze
as the daylight fades
the evening sunlight
drifting behind western trees
cherry blossoms fall
A friend of mine asked me why I hadn’t written, or posted, any haiku lately. My answer is pretty lame. She said she missed them, so I offer up this one.
autumn progresses
rains arrive and the air cools
yet flowers resist
It surprises me, at times, the persistent resilience of flowers. Though fully in jacket and sweater season, flowers still reach to the cold sky.
autumn sunlight
moving through yellowed leaves
branches not yet bare
so the week begins
cool air, grey clouds, gentle mists
my tea calls to me
Tis a grey morning in Seattle. Autumn’s coolness fills my senses. Time to rise, drink some tea, then face the world.
cool autumnal day
hints of rain drifting past me
remembering songs
