daylight fading
street lamps blink on
birds now silent
I delight in the night. Flickering streetlights are their own poems, no?
Chaos Tamer
daylight fading
street lamps blink on
birds now silent
I delight in the night. Flickering streetlights are their own poems, no?
Walking in the night
Street lights serenading me
Foot steps upon dreams

on this evening walk
with my mind feeding my soul
in this cool night air
Living: grace’s gift –
To feel sunlight on your face
And the evening rain
As the sunlight fades
Comforting darkness flows in
With the scent of rain
It’s set to rain overnight and into tomorrow. Many of the Seattleites I know are ready for a bit of cool rain. I know, we’re a weird lot. When everything is green it feels the most like home.
summer’s rain
beautiful scent of earth
renewed
Outside I hear a rumble, then the familiar tapping sound of rainfall. I love the scent of rain falling after a hot day.
