It’s a stormy, rainy, windy night here in Seattle.
Dawn's light a ways off
Evening rains dance in the wind
An open window
Chaos Tamer
It’s a stormy, rainy, windy night here in Seattle.
Dawn's light a ways off
Evening rains dance in the wind
An open window
wind blows through these trees
memories awakening
tranquility’s song
I’ve always loved the sound of the wind in the trees. In western Washington, it’s a common sound, speaking to me of home.
walking in the rain
which soon becomes a strong wind
and then it’s sunshine
sprinting clouds move past
trees bow, respecting the wind
leaves racing downwards
Woke to wind chimes’ song
Gentle motion of the air
Harbinger of fall
I love the sound of my wind chimes. Today, the pre-dawn morning air cool. Autumn approaches! September just days away, which I delight in. Though I need to trade my shorts and sandals for pants and sweaters, I find that fair.
southern wind challenges
trees bending with the waves
seagulls’ airborne dance
Winter’s coldness speaks
I’m always moving forward
And the wind still blows
With wind blowing strong
These bold and daring people
Weren’t cowed by this storm
I wrote this haiku watching these two ignore cold and rain, dancing where wind and wave collide.
